Liquivac Oil Extractor - 2 Gallon

Liquivac Oil Extractor - 2 Gallon Review

I've had this tool for over 5 years now, and it has performed many oil changes through the dipstick tubes on my gas and diesel cars. Works fine, but the tubing does collapse under vacuum with hot oil, and the seal between hoses and their components leaks as everything collapses. Tubing also ages of course, and becomes leaky - I just replaced with a brass fitting and thread sealant, and braided-reinforced hose. Also, you have to refresh the vacuum once or twice per each gallon, even when none of the seals are leaking. Not too bad for the price though; but I bought an electric pump for the boat so I don't have to keep messing with vacuum pumping during the suck process. I prefer the electric one, but it was like 100 bucks. This one still does car duty. Great for removing used oil from hard to reach drains on large or small engines. Holds up to 2 gallons. Easy to use pump tank comes with suction hose and storage cap. U.S.A.

Dont Buy it - Kevin Lawrence - Houston, TX
I bought this, and its junk. When I was pumping, the pump itself kept falling off, hence no vaccum. Instead, google quickoildrainvalvebr /I got that.

no good - D. K. Harrison - OKC, OK
I bought mine at Lowe's, I'm taking it back. It didn't come close to working.
